Custom relation label in Strapi CMS

To display a different label for a relation field in the Strapi admin panel:

1. Open Content Type Builder
2. Edit the relevant content type
3. Click Configure the view
4. Click the edit pen on the relation field
5. Set Entry title

Example

If your relation points to author entries and Strapi currently shows:

Entry 1
Entry 2

Set the Entry title to name so the relation dropdown shows:

Jane Doe
John Smith

This makes relation fields much easier to scan in the admin panel.
